Media Advisory: UNC Charlotte celebrates Research One (R1) status

What: UNC Charlotte will host an on-campus celebration to recognize the University’s achievement as an R1 institution. Members of the UNC Charlotte community are invited to join the celebration as Charlotte faculty and administrators talk about the importance of the achievement.

When: 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 26.

Where: The plaza between the College of Health and Human Services and the Mebane College of Education. 

About the Event: The Pride of Niner Nation marching band will be on-hand, attendees will be treated to snacks and giveaways and the UNC Charlotte bell will be rung.
