Lauren Gregg

Lauren Gregg is the Senior Director of Executive Engagement at UNC Charlotte, bringing over 20 years of experience in events, communications and public relations. In her current role, she supports the Chancellor, Provost and senior leaders by managing internal and external engagements, board support, digital communications and awards/sponsorship initiatives.

Previously, Lauren led the University’s events team, overseeing strategic chancellor-hosted events and annual Commencement ceremonies.

Prior to UNC Charlotte, Lauren served as Associate Director of University Special Events at North Carolina State University, managing the planning, execution and promotion of all Chancellor-level events. She also served NC State in several other communications and marketing roles.

She also has a background in state government, including serving as Assistant Press Secretary in the North Carolina Governor’s Office. Lauren holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from NC State University.
