Jason Vaughan

Jason Vaughan joined the University Communications team in August 2018 after nearly two years on campus in the College of Arts + Architecture. In his current role, Jason serves as a conduit between UNC Charlotte faculty/staff and media outlets to share stories from around campus. He is a media relations contact for the University and can be contacted via phone or email with any media inquiries.

Prior to joining UNC Charlotte, Jason worked as a Marketing Director for the YMCA of Greater Charlotte and enjoyed a career working in minor league baseball and basketball; primarily in marketing and communications. The Ohio native graduated from Kent State University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Administration.
