Jennifer Howe has been a part of the University community since 2014. In her role as director of campus and community communications, she strategizes, oversees, executes and assesses the effectiveness the University’s internal and operational communication needs, including crisis communications. She also provides strategy and executive support, including speechwriting, for the Office of the Provost. Previously, she served as director of advancement communications and marketing manager for the UNC Charlotte Office of Continuing Education. She has also provided communications support for the Charlotte School of Law, served as director of communications for Providence Day School and as associate director for alumni communications at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Jennifer earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism, with a concentration in public relations from Northeastern University and her M.Ed. in Higher Education, with a concentration in educational policy, research and administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
