Meg DellaMea has been a key part of the UNC Charlotte community since 2018, bringing her expertise in communication and digital strategy to her role as the director of engagement marketing. As part of the strategic brand and digital engagement team at Charlotte, she leads the digital engagement team within University Communications, focusing on driving strategies that foster meaningful connections and build brand affinity for the university. As a native Charlottean, she brings a unique and hyper-local lens to her work at Charlotte.
Meg is passionate about leveraging digital strategies to enhance outreach and engagement with target audiences. Meg excels in optimizing online presence for the user experience and orchestrating strategies that resonate deeply with audiences. Prior to joining UNC Charlotte, she honed her skills in the creative agency world, where she developed a strong foundation in innovative marketing solutions.
Meg graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and a master’s degree in mass communications.
