Susan joined University Communications in November 2017 and leads the development of messaging and content, and their integration across UNC Charlotte’s owned communication channels. These include a daily news site, a monthly e-newsletter; magazine; and digital features, each designed to align editorially with the University’s strategic priorities. Prior higher ed experience includes directing communications for Pfeiffer University and St. Francis College, complemented by a background in strategic communications, public relations and internal communication in healthcare and philanthropy.
