Angela M. Rajagopalan

Angela Herren Rajagopalan, an associate professor of Art History at the UNC Charlotte, is the author of "Portraying the Aztec Past: Codices Boturini, Azcatitlan, and Aubin" (University of Texas Press, 2018). Her research focuses on 16th-century painted manuscripts from central Mexico and explores artistic practices in the century after the Spanish conquest.

Jamie Franki is a tenured associate professor in the College of Arts + Architecture, where he coordinates the Illustration program and serves as associate chair of the Department of Art + Art History. Franki received his Master of Fine Arts in Illustration from Syracuse University and has been teaching art full-time on the college and university level since 1988.
