Dongsong Zhang is a Belk Endowed Chair Professor in the Department of Business Information Systems and Operations Management and a professor (courtesy) in the Department of Computer Science at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

John Tobias has ten-plus years of experience in sports statistics and analytics. He has been with ESPN since 2013 and was one of the first statisticians in the country to implement analytics in the sports television industry, also known as advanced statistics. He has worked the last three Summer Olympics, including the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Reza Mousavi is an assistant professor of business information systems and operations management and an assistant professor of data science and business analytics in the Belk College of Business at UNC Charlotte.
Taufiquar Khan is a professor and chair of the department of Mathematics and Statistics at UNC Charlotte. Prior to joining Charlotte, he was a professor of Mathematical Sciences at Clemson University.
Tony Schmitz received his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Temple University in 1993, his master's in mechanical engineering from the University of Florida in 1996, and his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of Florida in 1999.
Wenwen Dou, Ph.D., has a research focus on the intersection of text mining, artificial intelligence and visualization. Her areas of research include explainable AI, identifying and visualizing misinformation and social media analytics.
Wlodek Zadrozny joined the faculty of UNC Charlotte in 2013, after a 27-year career at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center. Dr. Zadrozny’s research focuses on natural language understanding and its applications. From 2008 to 2013, he was part of the IBM Watson project, the Jeopardy! playing machine. As a scientist at IBM Research, he led and contributed to a wide range of projects.
