Maciej A. Noras received a master's degree in 1994 from Wroclaw University of Technology in Wroclaw, Poland and a Ph.D. in 2000 from Southern Illinois University. He then joined Trek, Inc. as an R&D engineer to work on high voltage power electronics, including drivers for piezoelectric actuators, and precision measurement applications.
Michael Mazzola, Ph.D., is the executive director of the Energy Production and Infrastructure Center (EPIC) at UNC Charlotte and the Duke Energy Distinguished Chair in Power Engineering Systems. Prior to these appointments, he was a professor of electrical and computer engineering at Mississippi State University and the Jack Hatcher Chair for Engineering Entrepreneurship.
Peter Schwarz is an economics professor in the Belk College of Business. His research is predominantly in energy and environmental economics. In 2017, he completed a textbook entitled "Energy Economics," published by Routledge.
