Dave Sperry has been the director of UNC Charlotte's Venture Outdoor Leadership program for more than six years. He has worked with internationally recognized outdoor leadership organizations, such as Outward Bound. He has also served as a faculty member in outdoor education degree programs for more than 20 years.
Janaki Gooty, Ph.D., is the MBA Program Director and an associate professor in the Department of Management in the Belk College of Business and the interdisciplinary Organizational Science Ph.D. program. Her research interests are in leader-follower relationships, emotions, well-being and multi-level issues. Her research has appeared in elite leadership and research methods outlets.
Jim Watson is a clinical associate professor of Educadtional Leadership at UNC Charlotte. Prior to teaching at UNC Charlotte, Watson served as the superintendent of Lincoln County Schools for seven years. He is also a former assistant superintendent, and high school and elementary school principal.
Steven Rogelberg, Ph.D., is a pioneering organizational science researcher and professor of management and psychology. He has authored more than 100 publications that address issues such as team effectiveness, leadership, engagement, health and employee well-being, meetings at work and organizational research methods.
Tisha Greene, Ed.D., is the assistant dean for School and Community Partnerships in the Cato College of Education. She spent more than 17 years in the public school setting including nine years as a Title I elementary school principal, high school English teacher, secondary English resource teacher and district office school administrator.
