Jason Windett is an associate professor in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration. He is also the associate director of the Public Policy Ph.D. program, and a core faculty member in Public Policy. His research agenda focuses broadly on the area of representation in American politics, with a focus on state politics, state courts, and gender and politics.
Jean-Claude Thill is the Knight Distinguished Professor of Public Policy. He has broad interests in urban policy and analysis, urban growth and sustainability, urban/rural divide, transportation, trade and logistics, and data science for social good.
Mark Sanders is a senior lecturer of philosophy. He has been at UNC Charlotte since 2006 and has taught many classes during that time. Most recently, he has been focusing on philosophically informed civic engagement. This has manifested itself in the courses he teaches and the service and research he conducts.
Mary Jo McGowan is a lecturer and undergraduate director in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at UNC Charlotte. She earned her Ph.D. in public policy from UNC Charlotte in 2014. Her research interests include election administration, candidate decisions, and complexity theory.
Ryan Kilmer is a professor in the Department of Psychological Science, interim chair for the Department of Kinesiology, and co-director of the Community Psychology Research Lab at UNC Charlotte. He is also president of the Global Alliance for Behavioral Health and Social Justice.
