Samira Shaikh

Assistant Professor

Samira Shaikh is an assistant professor in the Computer Science Department in the College of Computing and Informatics at UNC Charlotte. She has a joint appointment with the Department of Psychology as an assistant professor in Cognitive Science. She is also an affiliate faculty member of the Data Science Intiative and Project Mosaic at UNC Charlotte.

Wlodek W. Zadrozny


Wlodek Zadrozny joined the faculty of UNC Charlotte in 2013, after a 27-year career at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center. Dr. Zadrozny’s research focuses on natural language understanding and its applications. From 2008 to 2013, he was part of the IBM Watson project, the Jeopardy! playing machine. As a scientist at IBM Research, he led and contributed to a wide range of projects.
