Wei (David) Fan, Ph.D. currently serves as a full professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and a Distinguished Scholar in the William States Lee College of Engineering at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Wlodek Zadrozny joined the faculty of UNC Charlotte in 2013, after a 27-year career at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center. Dr. Zadrozny’s research focuses on natural language understanding and its applications. From 2008 to 2013, he was part of the IBM Watson project, the Jeopardy! playing machine. As a scientist at IBM Research, he led and contributed to a wide range of projects.
