Kausik Chakrabarti is an assistant professor of Biological Sciences. His expertise is in the interdisciplinary areas of Genomics, Molecular Biology and Biochemistry of RNA-mediated regulation of gene expression in human pathogens, such as parasites and viruses.
Laurel Yohe received her dual BS in Bioinformatics and Biology from Loyola University Chicago. After completing a Fulbright fellowship in Vietnam for bird conservation research, she obtained a Ph.D. from Stony Brook University investigating the molecular evolution of the sense of smell in bats.
