Florence Martin is a Professor in Instructional Systems Technology and Program Director of the Post-Master’s Certificate of University and College Teaching at University of North Carolina Charlotte. Martin engages in research focusing on the effective design of instruction and integration of digital technology to improve learning and performance.
Garvey Pyke, Ph.D., has been the director of the Center for Teaching and Learning at UNC Charlotte since 2013. Garvey leads the center in providing and supporting the enterprise level academic technologies and faculty professional development programs regarding high quality instruction, scholarly teaching, and distance learning.
Teresa Petty is a Professor and Interim Dean of the Cato College of Education at UNC Charlotte. She received her Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, her M.Ed. in Instructional Computing Technology and her B.S. in mathematics from UNC Greensboro.
Tina L. Heafner, Ph.D. is a Professor in the Department of Middle, Secondary, and K-12 Education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Her administrative responsibilities include Directing the M.Ed. in Secondary Education and the Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction.
