Greg Gbur, a professor in the Department of Physics and Optical Science, specializes in theoretical optics, which is the study of the behavior of light and its applications, particularly the wave properties of light. He has written a blog on physics and the history of science called "Skulls in the Stars" for 11 years,and has written for popular science magazines.Gbur has published two textbooks and a pop-science book.
