Biography:

Hamed Tabkhi is an associate professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UNC Charlotte. He is director of the Transformative Computer Systems and Architecture Research (TeCSAR) Lab. Hamed’s research focuses on novel technologies to bring recent advances in AI (artificial intelligence) and deep learning to enhance the safety and security of our community, as well as modeling and understanding complex physical and engineering systems. He leads a $2 million National Science Foundation funded research grant on AI for public safety.
