Jake Armour

Biography: 

Jake Armour, a faculty member at UNC Charlotte since 2005, has a research background in Geomorphology and Paleoclimate in the southern Rocky Mountains of Colorado and New Mexico.

He worked as a groundwater hydrogeologist for John Shomaker and Associates Inc. in Albuquerque, New Mexico, from 1999 to 2003, where he completed water resource assessment projects as well as numerous groundwater contamination investigation and remediation projects. He brings these experiences to bear in teaching multiple sections of introductory Geology and Earth Science courses, as well as field methods courses for majors at UNC Charlotte.
