Biography:
Tianca Crocker is a social worker and applied researcher whose work focuses on increasing economic and social inclusion in an increasingly digital world. An assistant professor, Crocker also is a Fellow with the National Digital Inclusion Alliance and formerly served as a NTEN|Google Fiber Digital Inclusion Fellow at Austin Free-Net. She earned a doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin’s Steve Hicks School of Social Work with a graduate portfolio distinction in Communication, Information and Cultural Policy. Her research focuses on information and communication technologies (ICT) programs and policies that enable digital equity in low-income communities.
