Photo Services
PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICES:
University Communications offers photography support for a limited number of official UNC Charlotte events, special projects and programs. We also offer standard studio portraits for faculty and staff members.
How to Request Photo Services for University Events:
There are designated staff members who are authorized to submit a request for university events and feature photoshoots – this is usually the College Director of Communications or a designated staff member of a team. If you are not yet authorized, please contact your college communicator or team representative who has been authorized on Monday.com to discuss your idea and possibly submit a request for your event.
When requests are submitted, please keep in mind that a separate form is required for each individual event date, even if it is part of a series of events. If we are not available to support a request, we can provide a list of freelance photographers upon request.
If you are a College Communicator or authorized staff member, please complete our Photo Request Form.
Professional Headshots:
We offer standard studio portrait sessions for faculty and staff members. (Sorry, we do not offer services for student portraits.) Portrait sessions are offered once a month at the studio in the Foundation Building. You must register for a timeslot below prior to arrival at the studio. Please click on the link below to register. Thank you!

Photo Archives:
Archives of UNC Charlotte photographs are available to campus departments for university marketing and promotional materials, as well as web and email communications. Photos are available for download through our shared folder; please contact your department administrator for access. Usage is restricted to UNC Charlotte initiatives. Photos are organized first by Topic, then by Date (year-month-date), then by a specific title. To request usage of images for any promotional/commercial purpose outside of the university, (with the exception of using your own headshots), please contact us prior to using images as they are copyright protected.
For any questions, please contact Amy Hart, Creative Photographic Director at ahart36@charlotte.edu
