Biography:
Krista J. Saral received her Ph.D. in Economics from Florida State University in 2009 and is the executive director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI) and an associate professor in the Department of Economics at UNC Charlotte. Her research interests broadly lie in auctions, teams, remote work, entrepreneurship, and experimental methods. Her research has published in leading journals including the Economic Journal and Management Science, among others, and has earned media attention in outlets such as the Harvard Business Review. She is also a Chercheur Associée (Associate Researcher) with the CNRS laboratory, GATE Lyon Saint-Etienne, in Lyon, France.
