Jeanette Bennett is an experimental health psychologist whose research focuses on the biopsychosociological antecedents of stress-related chronic disease. She seeks to understand the physiological mechanisms that cause chronic diseases and how individual differences affect and how stress management interventions can holistically improve health and well-being.

Michael Thompson, Ph.D., is an associate professor and associate chair of Public Health Sciences. He directs UNC Charlotte’s CAHME-accredited and nationally ranked Master of Health Administration program and its Health Informatics and Analytics programs.
