Apryl Alexander is the Metrolina Distinguished Scholar in Health and Public Policy at UNC Charlotte. She also serves as Director of the UNC Charlotte Violence Prevention Center. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from the Florida Institute of Technology with concentrations in forensic psychology and child and family therapy.

Jennifer Ames Stuart currently serves as the associate vice chancellor of University Communications. In this role, she provides strategic leadership and oversight for internal communications, media relations, marketing and branding, creative services, public relations, broadcast/digital communications, executive communications and crisis communications.

Aly Amidei joined the UNC Charlotte faculty in 2015. She teaches Costume Design I and II, Stage Makeup and special topics courses in costuming, clothing history and costume crafts. She has worked as a designer and playwright based in Chicago for the last 18 years.

Nadia Anderson, associate professor of Architecture and Urban Design, is the director of the City.Building.Lab. Her research, teaching and practice focus on publicly engaged design as a vehicle for social empowerment and environmental resilience. Her work ranges across scales from the detailing of modular post-flood affordable housing to regional studies of local foods systems.

Bridget Anderson, a social research specialist at the UNC Charlotte Urban Institute, earned a bachelor's degree in Sociology from Wake Forest University and an MPH from UNC Chapel Hill.

Jake Armour, a faculty member at UNC Charlotte since 2005, has a research background in Geomorphology and Paleoclimate in the southern Rocky Mountains of Colorado and New Mexico.

Denis G. Arnold is the Jule and Marguerite Surtman Distinguished Professor of Business Ethics and professor of Management in the Belk College of Business at UNC Charlotte. He is a widely published scholar with a focus on international business ethics, corporate misconduct and public policy regarding business.

Bruce Auerbach is a professor of theatre, specializing in stage scenery and lighting design. His teaching experience spans 37 years with extensive expertise as a producer. He has 10 years training as ombudsperson, specializing in conflict management, prevention and resolution.  

Danillo Augusto, Ph.D. is an assistant professor and the director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Department of Biological Sciences. He has an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Genetics, with extensive experience in human molecular genetics, specializing in immunogenetics and population genetics.

Rachel Austin has been a lecturer/instructor at a variety of higher education institutions, including a state university, a private four-year college, technical colleges and local community colleges throughout Central and Western North Carolina and the upper Piedmont of South Carolina.
