Anthony Fodor has extensive experience in both academic and industrial settings in the analysis and interpretation of complex, multi-factorial datasets. He has been an active participant of the data analysis team analyzing microbiome data generated from the Human Microbiome Project and, more recently, the Microbiome Quality Control Project.

Melinda Forthofer, Ph.D., is professor and chair of the Department of Public Health Sciences in the College of Health and Human Services. Prior to UNC Charlotte,Forthofer was on the fUniversity of South Florida faculty (1996-2006) and at the University of South Carolina (2006-16).

Cindy Fox is a lecturer in the Marketing Department of the Belk College of Business. 

Sejal Foxx, Ph.D., is the director of the School Counseling program and the Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision program. Recently, she founded the RISE School Counseling Program in collaboration with the UNC Charlotte Urban Education Collaborative.

Heather Freeman, a professor of Art (Digital Media), completed a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art and German Studies from Oberlin College in 1997 and a Master of Fine Arts in Studio Art from Rutgers University in 2000. She has taught in the College of Arts + Architecture since 2006.

Alan Freitag, Ph.D., (Ohio University, 1999) is a professor in the Communication Studies Department. He teaches and conducts research in public relations and has been with the Univeristy since August 1998. A Fulbright scholar, Freitag served in Poznan, Poland, for six months in 2012 and again for 10 months in 2015-16 as a distinguished chair. Freitag retired from the U.S.

Sara Gagné, Ph.D., is an associate professor of landscape ecology in the Department of Geography and Earth Sciences. After completing a doctorate in biology from Carleton University in Canada, and prior to UNC Charlotte, she spent a year as a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Alexia Galati, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Psychological Science Department. She studies cognition in socially and environmentally situated contexts. Much of her work focuses on the constraints of how language users keep track of their conversational partners’ perspectives and how they adapt their linguistic and non-linguistic behavior to coordinate with one another....

Greg Gbur, a professor in the Department of Physics and Optical Science, specializes in theoretical optics, which is the study of the behavior of light and its applications, particularly the wave properties of light.
