Jill Yavorsky is an assistant professor in the Sociology Department. She earned bachelor's, master's and her Ph.D. from The Ohio State University.
Laurel Yohe received her dual BS in Bioinformatics and Biology from Loyola University Chicago. After completing a Fulbright fellowship in Vietnam for bird conservation research, she obtained a Ph.D. from Stony Brook University investigating the molecular evolution of the sense of smell in bats.
Wlodek Zadrozny joined the faculty of UNC Charlotte in 2013, after a 27-year career at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center. Dr. Zadrozny’s research focuses on natural language understanding and its applications. From 2008 to 2013, he was part of the IBM Watson project, the Jeopardy! playing machine.
